MEMBERSHIP COVERAGES AND LIMITATIONS

1. As a member of Road America Motor Club, all benefits are available to you up to your benefit limit without any additional payments. You are responsible for any non-covered expenses.
2. Your membership begins on the date shown on your membership card and will continue until the expiration date shown, unless canceled.
3. All 24-Hour Roadside Assistance services are provided by Brickell Financial Services Motor Club, Inc. dba Road America Motor Club, administrative offices at 3081 Salzedo Street, Coral Gables, Florida 33134. (For Mississippi and Wisconsin customers, services are provided by Brickell Financial Services Motor Club, Inc. For California customers, services are provided by Road America Motor Club, Inc.)

All of the benefits and services of your Road America Motor Club membership are described herein and are applicable throughout the United States and Canada. However, we do wish to inform you that:

1. Except in Wisconsin, this is not an Automobile Liability insurance contract.
2. This IS not an Automobile Physical Damage insurance contract.

A. EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

Emergency Roadside Assistance is available throughout the United States and Canada, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You will only have to pay for any costs in excess of the $50.00 per occurrence limit plus any non-covered costs.
Just call the TOLL-FREE 800-325-9028 and a service vehicle will be dispatched to your assistance. Important: Please be with your vehicle when the service provider arrives, as they cannot service an unattended vehicle. Service provided must be a covered benefit under the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
Please Note: Coverage is extended to the Registered Vehicle only. “Registered Vehicle” is defined as the vehicle registered with Road America (Vehicle Identification Number, year, and model. Registered Vehicle must be owned or leased (12 month lease or longer) by the member.
NOTE: ASSISTANCE OBTAINED THROUGH ANY SOURCE OTHER THAN ROAD AMERICA IS NOT COVERED AND IS NOT REIMBURSABLE.

The following are covered emergencies, subject to the $50.00 per occurrence limitation:

1. Towing Assistance - When towing is necessary, the covered vehicle will be towed to the nearest, qualified service facility;
2. Baffery Service - If a battery failure occurs, a jump start will be applied to start the covered vehicle;
3. Flat Tire Assistance - Service consists of the removal of the flat tire and its replacement with the spare tire;
4. fuel, Oil, Nuid and Water Delivery Service -An emergency supply of fuel, oil, fluid and water will be delivered if you are in immediate need. You must pay for the fuel or other fluid when it is delivered;
5. Lock-out Assistance - If your keys are locked inside of the covered vehicle, Road America will provide for assistance in gaining entry to the vehicle.

The following items are not included as part of the emergency roadside assistance benefit: Cost of parts, replacement keys, fluids, lubricants, or fuel, cost of installation of products, or materials. Non-emergency towing or other non-emergency service. Any service available through a valid manufacturer’s warranty or service. Mounting or removing of snow tires or chains. Shoveling snow from around a vehicle. Tire Repair. Trucks over one and a half ton capacity, antique vehicles (meaning vehicles over 20 years old or out of manufacture for 10 years or more), taxicabs, limousines, or other commercial vehicles.
Camping trailers, travel trailers, or any vehicles in tow. Any and all taxes, fines. Towing from or repair work performed at a service station, garage or repair shop. Towing by other than a licensed service station or garage; vehicle storage charges; a second tow. Service on a vehicle that is not in a safe condition to be towed. Towing or service on roads not regularly maintained, such as sand beaches, open fields, forests, and areas designated as not passable due to construction, etc. Towing at the direction of a law enforcement officer relating to traffic obstruction, impoundment, abandonment, illegal parking, or other violations of law. Only one disablement for the same service type during any seven day period will be accepted.

SERVICE PROVIDER NETWORK - Road America operates through a network of contracted service providers who have agreements with Road America to perform road and towing service for Road America members. As independent contractors, they have exclusive control over their own equipment and personnel. Road America is not responsible for their acts or omissions.

B. EMERGENCY TRAVEL EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT

It your owned vehicle is disabled due to a collision, 100 miles or more from your residence, you may qualify for reimbursement of up to $500 (a maximum of $167 per day for up to three (3) days) for emergency travel expenses.
If an accident resulting from a collision with another vehicle or object (reported in writing to state or local police), while your vehicle is being operated by you or your spouse, and which occurs at least 100 miles from your residence and results in an accidental disablement of your vehicle, you may be reimbursed for one or more of the expenses below if incurred within 3 days (72 hours) following the accident. (NOTE: MECHANICAL FAILURE OF YOUR COVERED VEHICLE IS NOT COVERED BY THIS BENEFIT)

1. Commercial transportation (by common carrier licensed to carry passengers for hire) to YOUR residence or destination and return to pick up YOUR disabled COVERED VEHICLE after repair.
2. Local commercial lodging and meals (incurred in the vicinity where the collision occurred).
3. Rental of a replacement automobile obtained from any bona-fide car rental agency or the repairing facility.

For reimbursement of expenses listed in this section, you must submit a claim to US, within 21 days of the accidental disablement, which includes your name, membership number, mailing address, and a bona-fide copy of the filed accident report. You must also include paid receipts validated by the companies providing you service.

C. 51,000 VEHICLE THEFT REWARD

A $1,000 reward will be paid for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone who steals your owned vehicle. A significant number of stolen autos that are recovered are reclaimed through the help of an eyewitness to the crime. You and your family and law enforcement officers are not eligible for the $1,000 reward for your own vehicle. This Reward does not cover any loss due to vandalism or stolen contents.

D. AMBULANCE ASSISTANCE REIMBURSEMENT

Should you or your spouse require the need of an ambulance as the result of a vehicle accident, the Club will reimburse you up to $50 to help offset the cost. This benefit is NOT restricted to your vehicle. You will be reimbursed for ambulance assistance if the accident occurs while you are in your vehicle, riding in a common carrier such as a bus, train, or taxi, or if you are hit by a vehicle. For reimbursement of ambulance expenses, you must submit a claim, including your name, membership number, mailing address, and a bona-fide copy of the filed accident report. You must also include paid receipts validated by the ambulance company providing the ambulance Services.

F. CRUISE AMERICA - RECREATIONAL VEHICLE SAVING

G. CUSTOM TRIP ROUTING SERVICE

Before traveling, call to receive your custom trip desired destination. This service can save you scenic route to travel.
Please allow ten to fourteen days for delivery.

H. SECURITY CREDIT CARD REGISTRATION

Security Credit Card Registration is a valuable service that helps protect your credit cards and bank cards. Just write for your Credit Card Registration Form to fill out and return. Register all your credit cards, charge plates and automatic teller machine cards. Should your credit cards be lost or stolen, just notify the Club, and we will immediately notify all of your credit card companies and request that they invalidate your old cards and immediately issue new cards for you.

I. LEGAL DEFENSE REIMBURSEMENT

Road America will reimburse you for legal fees incurred for an attorney’s appearance in court to defend you or your spouse against conviction for a violation of a motor vehicle law arising out of the ownership or use of your owned vehicle. A You may select your own defense attorney.

In order for you or your spouse to qualify for reimbursement you must not be using the car involved in the commission of a crime (whether or not you are charged with that crime). This Legal Defense Reimbursement Benefit covers only violations occurring during the membership term. Only one reimbursement will be made for all charges arising out of the same occurrence based on the schedule below for the violation charged which allows, the largest maximum payment.

Claims must be sent to the Club within 21 days after your trial and appeal (if you appeal), including your name, membership number, mailing address, and a copy of the arrest citation and-paid receipt for the attorney’s fee.

A. Benefits are not applicable when:
• Intoxicated or under the influence of narcotics.
• Failure to appear on a prior traffic/ violation, while, driving on a suspended, revoked, or invalid permit or for a felony.

PLEASE NOTE: Legal Defense Reimbursement benefits are NOT available to residents of New York.
